  • Sensitive & Financial Information: Employee salary details, financial records, and Tax File Numbers (TFNs) required for payroll, bookkeeping, BAS preparation, and taxation services.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your personal information is used solely to deliver the accounting and financial services you request. This includes:

  • Preparing professional quotes for End of Financial Year (EOFY) services.
  • Managing payroll processing and preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS).
  • Providing accounting, bookkeeping, tax planning, and taxation services under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009.
  • Responding to enquiries and maintaining our business relationship with you.

3. Third-Party Software & Overseas Data Storage (APP 8)

To provide secure and efficient accounting services, we use trusted cloud-based software platforms.

  • Software Providers: Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks are used to process and securely store financial information.
  • Cross-Border Data Storage: Your information may be stored on secure overseas servers, including those located in the United States, operated by these third-party service providers.
  • Security Measures: We implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), encryption, and other industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.

4. Automated Decision-Making (ADM) Disclosure

We use automated systems to improve the efficiency of our administrative processes.

  • Application: Information submitted through our enquiry forms may be automatically analysed to categorise enquiries and assess service requirements.
  • Purpose: This helps ensure your business is matched with the most appropriate accounting services and professional expertise.

5. Your Rights, Access & Data Retention

  • Access & Correction: You may request access to the personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
  • Data Retention: In accordance with Australian taxation and accounting requirements, financial records and supporting documentation are securely retained for a minimum of seven (7) years before being safely destroyed.
